Peep hole packaging

As my design ideas develop and my research continued, I have thought about the idea of packaging with a section of the product on show, like the examples below:

Part of a set of cereal packaging from the hotel that I work at. A fresh, contemporary look with simple type and a 2 colour print. The cereal is seen through the leaf cut outs and the brand is beautifully foil blocked.

Designed by Elephant in the room (USA) - 'Blindmice socks are purposely mismatched pairs in minimalist packaging'

Designed by Ducha cosmetics

Komono - designed by Coasthomson from Belgium. 'The see-through cut out form on the packaging is the komono symbol. It has been designed by using some shapes of the K and of the O' (They sell watches, sunglasses and boxer shorts all in this style of packaging.)

Designed by GAP Studios - 'Each pair is packaged in a 12 Inch Gap 1969 record sleeve because 1969 was the year that Doris & Don Fisher created GAP with the simple idea of 'jeans and disc'. Forty years on, GAP 1969 concept store in Kingly Court celebrates this heritage.'
