You and Review found in The Mail on Sunday and The Sunday Express 'S' supplement are prime examples of a lot of supplements that have similar layouts replicating those of the glossy shelf magazines generally aimed at females. They cover celebrity gossip, fashion, food, real life stories, etc. and are commonly 3 or 4 column grids with hardly any white space left on the page. Images and text are laid out around each other in complex, busy looking arrangements to pack the magazine with all that they can. As this, and the newspaper stock supplements seem to be the most common, I want to bring in creative, interesting designs within the format of the supplement as well as the layout.
