These are all the screen grabs I have taken from the 7 films I want to promote within my idents. I have picked out a few shots from each film that I think sum each one quite well. As the audience targetted are Rom Com fans, they should recognise which film it's from from these few clips. They will be used in my idents as backgrounds while kinetic typography moves in front of them, or be involved in part of the moving process themselves.

Uses the simple black, red and white colour theme that I am thinking of using because it will link in smoothly with the red Film Four ending.

Screen Grabs
Thinking about important aspects that could come in use when creating my idents to give off the right mood to lure my audience in and stop them changing the channel.
A lot of these clips have come from the trailers, but that is where I found the films had many things in common to grab the audience in the first place, in terms of:
Mamma Mia, Hitch, The Holiday and The Proposal all seem to use a blue theme in their trailer and credits.
As the Sex and the City screen grabs show, many romantic comedies are known for panning round the city that they're set in as the title sequence appears:
I really like the typeface and colours used in The Women trailer - very feminine, crisp and will give me help when choosing relevant colours. I also like the way the words zoom into the frame - something I will bear in mind when creating my idents.
